Holly “Tamale” Thomas was born and raised in a small town near Dayton, Ohio. Not seeing many opportunities in her hometown, she’s been moving ever since she was a legal adult- Florida, Georgia, and now Las Vegas, Nevada, where she’s quite fond of the $5 steak and 24-7 entertainment. A proud art school drop out, she compensates with her tenacious motivation for constant improvement. She likes doing all kinds of tattoos, but has a sweet spot for traditional and neo traditional designs.
“Yeah, I pretty much knew art school wasn’t for me when my professor reamed me in class for using the word ‘awesome’ as part of a critique. So, I said, ‘fuck that, I’m just going to tattoo anyway, I might as well just do it now.’ A couple months later I was packed up and headed for Vegas…”
Holly currently works at Voodoo Tattoo on 4265 S. Arville, just behind the Palms casino, in Las Vegas, NV.
